Our Heart Wanders Publishing House originated as a doctor’s office, providing cardiology services. It is not common for a doctor’s office to act as a publishing house, let alone a non-medical one. At Our Heart, however, we have adopted a formula of merging remote subjects and activities. We take it upon ourselves to connect career with passion, the local world, the place where we are born and live, with the world that is broadly understood, the one we get to discover and admire. We also connect, and perhaps above all, generations. At Our Heart Wanders publishing house, we print and promote the texts of a retired truck factory engineer, always devoted to social and artistic activities, alongside his son - a cardiologist, troubled by dilemmas of who he ought to be: a doctor, a scholar, or perhaps a writer or journalist? We introduce the reader to what we have lived through, what interested us, disappointed us, and brought us joy. These are different texts. Yet, they are connected by our passion for writing and a love of the world, and despite our generational difference, a shared desire for peace and good.
